WF (Squential workflows and state machines not present in Express edition)

    HI,

I have been using the Developer express edition to learn about the WF and WCF. I think for some reason Microsoft has not given the WF along with Developer express edition. I guess this should be a accidental omission only. My question is, Are there any patches available out there that would add these templates to Visual studion developer express edition. This would be a great boon R&D guys like us who do not have access to Visual studio editions (2005 and 2008).

    Thanks and regards

    Venkatesh, S

    Hello,

I wish to take a call in this question. Express editions are for non commericial learning purpose. WF and WCF are available in Professional edition that is provided to you for free via Dreamspark or BizSpark. So kindly get hold of it rather than trying to get a patch. One more important information that i would like to share here is VS 2008 & VS 2005 can work parallely i.e. they both can run on a System.

If you are student, please contact your college for MSDN AA{ Academic Alliance } through which you can get all these required editions for free.

    Thanks.
